| The management of Jalapeno is sponsoring a teacher at Shareefee. The generous contribution from Ahmed Mausoom and his business partners make it possible to pay the salary for one staff at Shareefee. We are all very thankful to Jalapeno for their contribution. We were actually looking for some funding to employ a Qur'an teacher and this made it possible. |

| Shareefee is 10 years old |

| Since the birth of the new Shareefee School in 1998 it has been serving Meedhoo for ten years. Shareefee students, staff and parents celebrated the tenth anniversary. The evening was full of fun events for the students and all the students participated in these events. The chief guest of the was Meedhoo Chief Mr Abdulla Rasheed. Mr Rasheed addressed the audience and highlighted on the important role Shareefee is playing the education system of Meedhoo. |
